The Power of Connection: How BTB Connect Points Strengthen Churches Across Georgia

At the heart of Building the Bridge Georgia’s mission is the desire to unify and equip churches to reach the Black/African-American community with empathy, cultural understanding, and Christ-centered love. One of the most powerful tools in accomplishing this mission is the BTB Connect Point—a strategic hub of community, communication, and collaboration.

BTB Connect Points are more than just meetings; they are opportunities for pastors, ministers, and church leaders to come together in shared purpose. These gatherings are intentionally spread across all sections of the Georgia UPCI District, making it easier for churches of all sizes and locations to plug in, receive support, and grow together.

Every Connect Point gathering is shaped by prayer, purpose, and practical wisdom. Leaders share real challenges and celebrate real wins. Whether it’s a small-town church wanting to build cultural bridges in their neighborhood or a larger congregation seeking guidance on community outreach strategies, Connect Points provide the space to find encouragement and solutions.

Perhaps one of the most powerful aspects of these gatherings is their ability to affirm that we are not alone. Ministry can be isolating. The burden of leadership, especially when ministering cross-culturally, can feel overwhelming. But through Connect Points, leaders are reminded they’re part of something greater. They are part of a movement—God’s movement—unfolding across Georgia.

Testimonies from Connect Point attendees highlight the transformative impact: stronger partnerships between churches, renewed commitment to evangelism, and new ministries birthed through collaboration. People walk away not only informed but inspired and recharged.

As BTB Georgia continues to expand, we encourage every church in the district to engage with a Connect Point near them. You’ll find fellowship. You’ll gain tools. And most importantly, you’ll be part of building bridges that change lives for eternity.
